Peke A Tzu Rescue
Foster Journal

We thought all of you out there would like to see what happens here in our home so we decided we would pop in on occasion and let you know what we are doing. Some days it is just the same old routine, but other times we have a lot of excitement. We hope you enjoy hearing about our activities and seeing a few pictures. The majority of the time you will see us happy, healthy and well groomed, but there is a significant cost involved to get each of us to this point which can be viewed at Foster Vetting Costs..

Auntie Marg shared this picture with us pupsters and we wanted to share with all of you. We think this is absolutely amazing! We do not know about all of you, but we pupsters are beginning to wonder about the direction our country is taking and if many have forgotten what this great country is really all about. We thought this was a wonderful reminder of who we are and what we stand for. The picture was taken in 1918 of 18,000 men preparing for war in a training camp at Camp Dodge in Iowa.

You know Dad just cannot resist the black and white kids. Mei Ling and Arpel have him wrapped right around their little paws. Today they got a beauty treatment…don’t they look pretty? Arpel cannot stand to be separated from Dad…she cries and cries when he is gone. Mei Ling stands watch at the windows whenever he is out of her sight. Mom tries to console them in Dad’s absence, but doesn’t have a whole lot of luck. They are quite the pair!

Did you say treats???? The word “Treats” is the most important word in the English language as far as Estee here is concerned. It puts my ears at attention immediately. I know there are other important things in life, but eating is number one on my list. So Mom, what’s on the menu today?

You know Mom tells us we need to be understanding and gentle with the puppies, but we are here to tell you it surely takes a lot of patience. We will give Promise a lot of credit for Winona has a fetish about licking faces. Promise finally gave in to Winona’s wishes and decided it wasn’t worth fighting anymore. She just spreads out on the floor and let’s Winona lick away! Sure makes for a messy face though.

Mom would you please tell Angel to quit following me around and staring at me all of the time. She says my ears are not positioned properly. She had the nerve to ask me if someone had starched them. Then she told me my legs were too short, my body too long and my head too big. Geez, I thought I looked pretty good until I met Angel. Lessie here is beginning to get a pupsterferority complex.

We were considering having a wrestling match between Rory and Pappy, but we don’t think it will work. This is their preliminary workout and they just will not take it seriously! Candice is observing to see if this is even worth our time. They just don’t seem to understand that we pupsters definitely are not going to risk giving up a week of our treats on a match that looks like a dancing contest!
