Peke A Tzu Rescue
Foster Journal

We thought all of you out there would like to see what happens here in our home so we decided we would pop in on occasion and let you know what we are doing. Some days it is just the same old routine, but other times we have a lot of excitement. We hope you enjoy hearing about our activities and seeing a few pictures. The majority of the time you will see us happy, healthy and well groomed, but there is a significant cost involved to get each of us to this point which can be viewed at Foster Vetting Costs.

Ummmm, Mom, Sushi has a problem again. One of those little black spiders got in here again and she thinks it is something to eat! You had better educate her because we pupsters are not going to put up with her moaning and groaning when she gets bit and her tongue swells up. You have sat down with all of us and shown us pictures of insects that won’t harm us such as a fly and those that will. Sushi needs to take a refresher course!

Honest Mom, I have absolutely no idea how this happened. I was just sitting here minding my own business and suddenly this role of paper towel with signs of being torn up landed right in my bed. Now, my input on this is that “The Rockman” visited us from the Rainbow Bridge and is playing a trick on me. You know how he loved to tear up paper and always blame it on one of us. Why are you looking at me like that? I have a feeling you don’t believe me for some reason.

Mom, Candice here is begging you to please tell the puppies that I would like some time of my own. Geez, I went through 60 plus a few days of pregnancy, an uncomfortable one to say the least. Then I have devoted my life for 8 weeks to nothing but caring for the babies. It is time for them to leave the nest! I can't even imagine taking care of them for 18 years or more like human's do! I need to kick up my heels and get back to romping and playing with the pupsters.

Echo here reporting in helping Dad with the laundry. You see he said he would help Mom out a bit, but I have a feeling he is in big "doo doo"! You see I have watched Mom sort the laundry before and whites definitely do NOT get washed with the darks. ESPECIALLY her personal items. I couldn't help modeling a bit while Shilo took the picture before the "doo doo" hit the fan!!! Hope Mom isn't reading the journal...we may be in a bit of trouble right along side of Dad.

OK Mom, let's just discuss this before you get upset. Precious here is on the futon for the night and you have placed a protective gate around the futon so no one can fall off, correct? OK, so what is the big deal if I climb up on the arm to rest a bit? You would think I have committed the pupster crime of the century the way you act. I am mature enough and wise enough to know that I won't take a chance of falling off and hurting myself. You need to get a life and find something else to occupy your time rather than always checking up on me.

So, what do you think Freedom? Is it alive? Doesn't yellow mean caution? These other duckies, in Fauna and Scamps opinion do not look too menacing, but this one....mmmm...could mean trouble. See how he is holding his head? Well, maybe we better take a closer look at its' all together to determine if it is a girl or a boy, what do you think? Just wish Mom would let us take our baths with each other and not add these strangers to our bubble environment.

We had a very, very special visit from our Auntie Linda today. We have never been able to meet her because she is always on the road transporting and Dad picks up the kids she saves that join the rest of we pupsters. We can't even count the number of pupsters and other animals that are safe because of her love and devotion. She drives miles and miles to get the animals to safety within rescues. Now, we want to tell you that we thought Mom was out of control with a camera. Auntie Linda has her beat 10 times over. You should see the contortions and the weird noises that she makes to get a picture. It was quite the experience, but everyone of us loved, loved, loved her.
