Forever Home
Update

Good Morning Jan,
Jubilee, what a bundle of Joy. She has fit right in with our family. Willie and Pumpkin both accepted her right away. She is unsure of the stairs leading upstairs but has already mastered the steps outdoors. She slept like a baby last night she even snored like her momma. (LOL) Dave and I giggled at her so much last night and this morning. Kyrstie just called me to say she stopped by the house on her way to college to check in on her and they played a game of hide and seek. She said Jubilee ran to one of the dog beds put her head down in the corner and stayed real still. When Kyrstie would ask, where's Jubilee? She would wag her tail really fast and then stop and wait for Kyrstie to ask again. They played this for several minutes before Jubilee finally looked up and ran over to her. Kyrstie laughed and laughed at her. It made her day. I am bringing her to work with me tomorrow (probably all week. I just wanted her to get used to her new home for a day first. She is truly a Blessing to our family. Thanks for sharing her with us. We love her so much already.

Hello Jan,
Jubilee is doing fantastic. She went all the way up stairs today all by herself (a little coaxing with a treat, but still all the way up) I was such a proud mommy, I actually texted Dave and the girls because I was so excited. We have been working on it a few steps at a time. She is wonderful. She is quite the snuggler and I love that about her. She is doing well with potty training also. I think being able to go up and down the stairs by herself will really help. She is the quite the little love. Have a great week.

Hello Jan,
Sorry I haven't written life has been hectic and Jubilee has been right in the middle of it all. She is a hoot. She has learned to use a set of steps to get on our bed, so now she runs full speed up the stairs, into our room and up onto the bed like a wild child. She loves to play and wrestle in bed before we settle in for the night. Than she snuggles in next to me and sleeps through the night. I LOVE that she loves to snuggle. I have included some pictures of her recently. You will see in one that Kyrstie was cold so Casey laid on top of her like a blanket, Jubilee thought she should help keep sissy warm. You will also see that during the 1st snowfall Willie went off the steps and Jubilee just looked at me like I was the crazy one. Kyrstie loves to dress her up in everything from dresses and sweaters to even a rain coat for those wet days. Oh boy is she ever spoiled. We have given her the middle name of Grace because she has NONE and we felt she needed some and that would probably be the only way she would get it. LOL Well gotta get back to work. Yes, I should be working.
You have a Blessed and Safe Christmas Holiday.

Gail

Hi Jan,
Nice to hear from you. Jubilee and I were actually just talking about needing to write you. Jubilee said I needed to send you pictures from her crazy dress up day with the girls. Let me explain what Jubilee means by that. All three girls, Kyrstie, Casey and Jubilee wanted to do something very special for my birthday in January. They thought long and hard and decided to do a photoshoot and create a Jubilee calendar. No better present than a year full of Jubilee they thought. They picked out her favorite outfits and got to snapping pictures. For each month they dressed her in an appropriate outfit and took her photo. You will see she started the cold January with her new red cape that has a little bling and quickly moved through the months to April showers (rain jacket with hat) bring May flowers and bumble bees. Halloween she gets a little witchy. Then when Christmas rolls around she will be ready to snuggle into bed in her Christmas jammies(actually if I am on my back she sleeps on my shoulder usually with her head tucked up under my chin or curled up between Dave and I if I am on my side) She rules the roost so she sleeps wherever she wants. They made me a card and all signed it. It came with a little easel so each month the calendar month could sit on my desk also a cute frame with a picture of her in it for my desk. It was the best gift I had gotten. I cried. Jubilee just got a new haircut last week. I wish I had a picture, but I forgot to take one to send you today. I asked them to groom her like normal all over except leave her face a little fuller and round. OMG, she is so cute. I think her new cut has made her a little more fiesty, because we all keep telling her she sooooo darn cute. You will see in 3 photos that I took from around Christmas time just how well Jubilee and Willie get along. (or should I say, how well he tolerates her, LOL) they sleep together a lot when no one's looking. There will be many days I come home and find them sleeping in the same bed together(mine or theirs). He's a pretty good big brother to her. Well life has been good to us. Jubilee is truly a blessing and joy to us all. Thanks for checking in on her and us. We wish you and your family a wonderful Spring.
God Bless
Hugs,
Gail

Hi Jan, Just wanted to touch base with you as summer is wrapping up at the Burrows home. Jubilee is doing wonderful. She has brought us so much joy. There isn't a day that goes by that one of us doesn't tell her how perfect she is for our family. I wanted to share a quick little story with you. The girls and I were riding in the car the other day discussing college. I told them that our door is always open. I also told them that when I left home my mom was very selfish and would not let me take things that reminded me of home. I said that if there is something they want that will make their transition of living on their own easier and remind them of home, it's theirs. I want their new places whether it be an apartment or first house to always feel like home. I no more than got the words out of my mouth, when Casey pipes up from the back seat and yells I WANT JUBILEE! I laughed and said let me rephrase that, you girls can have anything except Willow and Jubilee. She said jokingly, well fine then I don't want anything. I think our girls will miss the little dogs way more than they will miss Dave or I when they leave home. LOL
Have a blessed Fall
Smiles,
Gail
