Update

Jan,
Lindy is a great little traveler. She settled right down and got comfy. I think Lindy checked out every square inch of the downstairs within 15 minutes of walking in the door. She ate dinner and all is well. We do have some serious potty training to do.

Lindy's doing very well. We're starting to figure out how she tells us that she has to go out. She gets very impatient when the food comes out and paces rapidly until her bowl is down. She'll sit in a lap as long as we stay seated. She hasn't shown an interest in toys at all. We haven't been able to get her to play. She likes to run so, when I get this boot off my foot, we may have some fun. She has slept in bed with us both nights. She doesn't seem to be afraid of anything (being run over by my knee scooter or falling off the couch). When she does want to get off the couch, she takes a great leap and lands five feet away. As you said, she's very inquisitive. Open a cupboard door and she's right there checking it out. She's met the neighbors on both sides and they love her almost as much as we do.
Cheers

Hi Jan,
Miss Lindy is doing very well. She sleeps in bed with us every night. She would shiver every time we took her outside. So we got her a sweater to go under her coat. She can’t be coaxed outside at all so she has to be carried. We’re still working on potty training. She doesn’t like grass at all so she always goes on the driveway. She’s quite hilarious. She works up to pottying by running around very quickly in circles as wide as the drive. She made me dizzy so I started passing the leash from one hand to the other behind my back. One time, I counted 31 loops before she stopped to pee. She has started eating a bit more leisurely rather than eating like somebody else was going to get her food. Did you see the video I texted you of her chewing on her foot? She chases, and sometimes catches, her tail too.

Hi Jan,
Happy New Year.
Little Miss Lindy has turned into the puppy that she didn’t get to be. She’s become inquisitive outside. In the evening, if she’s not getting enough attention, she’ll find a magazine to chew on. (She responds quite favorably to “NO”.). Three or four times a week, in the evening, she’ll bark at me until I get down and play with her. We wrestle. She chews on my hand. She runs around in little circles like her tail was on fire. Most nights, she sleeps right between our pillows. The joy she brings to us is immeasurable.
Hugs,
Ruth and Jim
