Forever Home Update December 19, 2019 Hi Jan, Just wanted to send a few photos, Dixie in her car seat, and staying warm in the fleece blankets. Yesterday she rolled over to give me her little belly to rub.¸ We adore her, and are enjoying seeing her personality come out. She is such a blessing to our family! Michelle January 18, 2020 Hi Jan, Dixie is just a blessing! Her personality is so sweet and we can see those little shih-tzu characteristics that we love. The snorting/sniffing to get our attention is probably my favorite, both of our others did that. She is getting used to a harness and leash, although the weather hasn't been great enough to have her out every day. But she trots along with her tail up and nose in the air, as long as we don't get out of sight of the house! She and the cats have settled in very well, and Poppy shows an interest in playing with her, but neither of them knows how just yet. I feel like they'll get there in time. She is just the sweetest little love bug, and I'm thankful every day that we have her. Michelle March 8, 2020 Dixie is a Blessing! She wants to be wherever her people are, and in this photo she’s sitting on the tuffet she uses to get onto the sofa. She and her kitty siblings generally nap together on the fleece blankets we keep on all the furniture. She LOVES the pretty weather we’ve been enjoying in central Indiana! Michelle January 23, 2023 Jan, I've been meaning to send you photos of our little precious and finally remembered to select a few. She loves her home, and her favorite spot is in the middle of the sofa between me and Chris. For Christmas this year she received a new bed that now sits on the sofa and she LOVES it!! The cats attempt to share the space with her, Benny being the most persistent. He is also pictured with her in the kitchen. Those two are usually curious when mama is cooking. She had her yearly physical the other day and is still perfectly healthy, her weight stays consistent at 8.5lbs. The next time we're all outside I'll try to get some sunshine photos of her, but for now enjoy holiday and recent pics. Blessings, Michelle
