Forever Home Update February 3, 2019 Dear Jan, Higgins is being a little shy. We know he is missing you a lot. We put his food out at around 3 and he didn't start eating until 4. He also took a little nap. Would you tell us how often he has a BM? Thanks, we'll be in touch! Mary and Todd February 11, 2019 Hi Jan, Higgins seems to be adjusting well and has started running around the backyard and is on a regular schedule. While outside in the snow, he rubs the side of his face in the snow. Does that signal a problem with his ears? Todd May 5, 2019 Jan, Higgins is doing well and we love him so much. He is so sweet. We have cut back on portions a bit as he was gaining weight. He had an ear infection that we got taken care of and he now has more energy. He likes to follow Mary and I closely so we must keep an eye out for him when we walk around the house. At first, he didn’t like the leash but now that it is warmer and my daughter brought her Shih Tzu occasionally, he has taken to walks pretty well. He was very well house trained and has some favorite spots in the backyard. Even if we go for walks, he mostly holds it until he gets home. We have not found a good way to brush his teeth.
