Petco Adoption Day in Muskegon, Michigan

Peke A Tzu Rescue again attended Petco's 's National Adoption Day Park and Bark and Meow Event in Muskegon, Michigan. Our volunteers Marianne, Val , Lesley and Val's daughter, Allie participated. Val once again brought Megan the Schnauzer and as usual she was the hit of the party.
It was a beautiful day so we were able to set up a canopy and enjoy visiting with everyone. We loved sharing rescue with all of our visitors. We also educated many on the use of belly bands and prissy pants and all were appreciative of this information.
We were able to see Dugan once again who lives in the Muskegon area. He was happily shopping for goodies with his sister. He looks fantastic and is so very happy!
Again, the Muskegon Petco staff was incredible! Anna, who arranges the events is so supportive and Kevin, the manager is so very helpful. They offered several dog food samples, treats and coupons to the rescues attending.
We would like to thank Petco once again for including us in their Adoption Day and a special thank you to our volunteers, Marianne, Val, Lesley and Allie. And of course special smooches and hugs to Megan who always woos the crowd!
