Teddy (fka MASON Shih Tzu) joined us in October 2021. Teddy was a retired breeder. He was quite shy when he arrived, but what a gentle sweet little boy. We worked with him and he responded quickly to our love. We fell in love with him and could not resist his sweet little face and wonderful kisses.

Teddy is doing wonderfully with his Forever Mom & Dad Alejandra and Carlos and has joined our sweet pupster girl Frida in Michigan. ,

Millie (Shih Tzu) joined us in December 2021. Millie retired from the breeding world at the age of 7 years old. She was such a sweet and loving little girl once she realized she was truly safe. Millie had the happiest little tail and absolutely beautiful eyes. We are going to miss her.

Millie is enjoying sunny California with her Forever Mom & Dad Vera and Andy and loves her pupster brother Tyler in California. ,

Charla (Shih Tzu) joined us in February 2022. Charla was a retired breeder. She was one busy little girl and definitely kept us hopping. Her curiosity earned her one of our favorite sayings "We don't do that here" often. She loved to be held and cuddled and gave the best kisses ever!

Charla is definitely keeping her Forever Mom & Dad Darline and Mike busy in Michigan. ,

Izzy (fka SKYLER Shih Tzu) joined us in November 2021. Izzy was quite the little character. She was always on the go and loved romping and playing with the other pupsters. She had the most beautiful eyes and when she looked at us our hearts melted.

Izzy absolutely adores her Forever Mom & Dad Lorrie and Steve in Michigan. ,

Solana (Yorkshire Terrier) joined us in April 2021. Solana was a retired breeder and joined us when she was 11 years old. She was such a shy little girl, but with love and patience she came out of her shell. What a sweet, sweet little girl! She won our hearts and we are surely going to miss her.

Solana has won her Forever Mom & Dad Deb and Daniel's hearts in Michigan. ,

Fizzy (Shih Tzu) joined us in December 2021. Fizzy was five years old when he arrived and was a breeder boy. He was a shy, shy little boy with the most beautiful eyes that just melted our hearts. With patience and love he began to realize all was well in his world.

Fizzy is enjoying his home and loves his Forever Mom Julianne in Michigan. ,

Dolly fka GODIVA (Shih Tzu) joined us in November 2021. Dolly was turned over by her breeder because she was so small and thus could not be used for breeding. She was such a beautiful little liver girl just packed full of energy. Describing her as busy did not even get close. She was on the go constantly and filled our lives with joy.

Dolly is keeping her Forever Mom & Dad Vickie and Ron very busy and loves her pupster sisters Roxie and Mattie Jo in Michigan. ,

Baxter (Shih Tzu) joined us in March 2022. Baxter was turned over to PATR by his Mom and Dad. Their work schedule did not allow them the time to adequately care for Baxter. He was an absolute doll baby and such a little gentleman. All he wanted was to be loved and cuddled. We enjoyed his gentle, loving personality.

Baxter is already in love with his Forever Mom & Dad Cindy and Rich in Michigan. ,

Winston fka PRATTLES (Pekingese) joined us in January 2022. Winston was a victim of abuse along with several other dogs. He was in horrible condition..skin and ear infections and the list goes on. He was barely able to walk when he was removed from his abuser's home. With lots of love and consistent physical rehabilitation he became stronger and stronger. When he left for his Forever Home he was a strong loving little boy, but still unsure of himself.

Winston is his Forever Mom Karen's little shadow and enjoys snuggling with his Pekey brother Henry in Michigan. ,

Wally fka Pablo (Chihuahua) joined us in December 2021. Wally was found as a stray. A gentleman picked him up and brought him here. He was emaciated, nails growing into his little paws and flea covered. Through all of the bathing, nail clipping and other things needed to get him healthy, he was an angel. Wally was the sweetest little boy and we fell in love with him. He is surely missed.

Wally has won his Forever Mom Debbie's and loves her pupster sister Ruby in Michigan. ,

Lucy fka CHARMIN (Bichon Frise/Maltese Mix) joined us in January 2022. She came from a breeder who was downsizing her kennels. Lucy was quite shy when she arrived, but it wasn't long and her great personality emerged. She was quite the little charmer and definitely kept us on our toes. It is a bit quiet here without her.

Lucy is keeping her Forever Mom & Dad Jan and Don very busy and enjoys playing with her pupster brother Charlie in Michigan. ,

Jacksen (Shih Tzu) joined us in October 2021. Jacksen was a retired breeder. He was very, very shy when he first arrived. With patience and a lot of love he began to come out of his shell. What an absolutely fantastic personality he had. He was such a sweet gentle little boy. We are so happy he has found his special home.

Jacksen has his Forever Mom & Dad Sara and Dan all to himself and is lovin' it in Michigan. ,

Raelynn (Shih Tzu) joined us in May 2022. Raelynn was a retired breeder. She arrived shy and withdrawn. With lots of love and a whole bunch of patience she gradually came out of her shell. What a beautiful, sweet little girl she was. We know the remainder of her life is going to be overflowing with love.

Raelynn adores her Forever Mom Kathy and is keeping her pupster brothers Zack and Culley busy in Michigan. ,

Toya (Shih Tzu) joined us in January 2022. Her breeder was downsizing kennels. Toya was an energetic, loving, sweet little girl. She had a fantastic personality and everyone who met her fell in love with her immediately. We surely miss her.

Toya has spun her charm on her Forever Mom Rosemari and loves her pupster sisters Lily and Macy in Michigan. ,

Morgie (Poodle) joined us in June 2022. Morgie's Mom was no longer able to care for him due to medical issues. He had been well loved and quickly transferred his love to us. He was an amazing little boy just packed full of love. We so enjoyed having him with us.

Morgie is so happy with his Forever Mom & Dad Gloria and Dick and enjoys his walks with his pupster brother Harley in Michigan. ,

Naomi (Shih Tzu) joined us in May 2022. Naomi had retired from the breeding world. She was so shy at first, but we knew time would heal her wounds. She gradually left her fear behind her and what a delightful little girl emerged! She had a very comical personality and was packed full of love.

Naomi has captured her Forever Mom Miriam's heart and enjoys our Sydney and her Mom Kim in Illinois. ,

Barbara (fka SKYLEE Shih Tzu) joined us in August 2021. Barbara was a retired breeder. Our little red head was quite the little spitfire and nothing got past her! She loved the other pupsters here and was one busy girl. Barbara gave some of the best kisses ever and loved to be loved.

Barbara is doing so well with her Forever Mom & Dad Kristy and Gareth and loves her pupster brother Walter in Michigan. ,

Kendy (Shih Tzu) joined us in June 2022. She joined PATR due to kennel downsizing by her breeder. Kendy was just the sweetest little girl, but very, very withdrawn. Our favorite saying here is "Love Conquers All" and love worked its' miracle on our little Kendy. She left us more confident, but still had some shyness issues. We know her Mom and Dad will continue working with her until she realizes she is truly safe.

Kendy has won her Forever Mom & Dad Rose and Richard's hearts and is enjoying her pupster brothers Moka, Panda and Pickles in Michigan. ,

Denzel (Shih Tzu) joined us in July 2022. Denzel joined PATR due to kennel downsizing by his breeder. He was an amazing, happy, loving little boy who totally won our hearts. He loved all of the pupsters here and was a very busy little boy. He had the best little toothy smile that was so endearing.

Denzel adores his Forever Mom & Dad Jenice and Robert and is doing great with his pupster siblings in Michigan. ,

Hazel (Shih Tzu) joined us in October 2022. Hazel was a retired breeder. She was very quiet at first, but as she became more comfortable her amazing personality emerged. She was so loving and had the happiest little tail. She had a great time with all of the pupsters and we sure do miss her.

Hazel is so happy with her Forever Mom & Dad Linda and Greg and loves her pupster sister and brother Baby and Tucker in Michigan. ,

Nellie (Shih Tzu Poodle Mix) joined us in September 2022. Nellie had retired from the breeding world. She was quite the character and just the happiest little girl. She loved playing with balls and we could not throw one enough for her. She loved the other pupsters here and enjoyed snuggling and playing with all.

Nellie is so happy with her Forever Mom & Dad Nancy and Romeo and has joined our previously adopted pupster Sadie in Michigan. ,

Manny (Shih Tzu) joined us in June 2022. A couple in our area found a posting on a bulletin board for a free Shih Tzu. They took Manny into their care and then turned him over to PATR. Manny was a mini terror when he first arrived. He tried to boss all of the other dogs around and was a "Power Lifter". We worked with him on his attitude and eventually he decided it wasn't necessary to be agressive with the other dogs. He was a super loving little guy with a huge heart and wonderful kisses.

Manny has his Forever Mom & Dad Sansi and Mike wrapped right around his little paws. He is snuggling with his pupster sister Evelyn and has learned to respect his feline sisters Addie and Gracie in Michigan. ,

Ziggy (Shih Tzu) joined us in September 2022. Ziggy was a retired breeder. Once he got comfortable we found he had an amazing personality and gave the best kisses ever. He loved the other pupsters and enjoyed romping and playing with them. We will miss his wonderful slurpy kisses.

Ziggy has fallen in love with his Forever Mom & Dad Dawn and Wayne and is enjoying his pupster brother Bogey in Michigan. ,

Paxton (Shih Tzu) joined us in June 2022. Paxton came to us as a puppy. He suffered from swimmers legs. With water therapy and physical therapy we got him through it and he could romp and play just like all of the other pupsters. Paxton was your typical happy playful puppy. He gave the best slurpy kisses ever and loved his belly rubs.

Paxton is loving being the one and only with his Forever Mom & Dad Lisa and Alex in Michigan. ,

Hank (fka HUGGY Shih Tzu) joined us in August 2022. Hank was a retired breeder. He was a bit shy when he first arrived, but we knew as soon as we met him that we had a big lover in our midst. He was so very sweet it was hard to refuse any of his requests..such as lap time, extra treats and the list goes on. We miss his sweet kisses.

Hank has won his Forever Mom & Dad Marcey and Fred's hearts and loves his pupster sister Libby in Illinois. ,
