Peke A Tzu Rescue's Happy Endings 2005

FREDDIE (Skye Terrier Mix) blessed our lives in May 2003, CAGNEY (Yorkie) wagged into our lives in June 2004 and HOPE entered our lives in November 2004. Freddie is deaf, but that doesn't slow him down. He is very familiar with hand signals and a lovable handsome boy. We hunted and hunted for the right place for our Special Needs Boy and just couldn't let him leave the family. Our sister and brother-in-law fell in love with this very special boy. Then along came Cagney and our sister and brother-in-law instantly flunked foster 101. Who could possibly resist that sweet face and happy, bouncy little boy. Hope was and is such a special needs little baby and after helping Hope heal we felt she had found the best home she could possibly find with those two people that were responsible for helping her to walk and bounce and be free of pain.

SASHAY (Shih Tzu Poodle Mix) arrived in July of 2005. Sashay had known only a crate most of her life. It didn't take her long to appreciate her freedom and join in the romping and playing. She was an amazing little girl who did not let her past dampen her wonderful spirit. She definitely kept us busy and on our toes. Enjoy your new life sweetie, you surely deserve it.

LONDON (Poodle) was found by one of our volunteers abandoned in a shelter in June of 2005. London was facing euthanization for she was blind and so afraid she would bite anyone that came near her. We brought her home, unburied her from all of the matting and underneath was this petite little white poodle girl. As her fear subsided we found this sweet, lovable, but very head strong little baby. Another of our volunteers could not resist London's sweet little face and offered to foster her. And, you guessed it, she fell head over heels in love with our London.

TIKI (Shih Tzu) won our hearts immediately when she arrived in December of 2004. Auntie Marg and Unkie Jim had been searching for a baby for quite some time for their Ling-Ling needed a very special sister for she had lost her sister Mei-Li. When Tiki arrived we knew that she was the one to help heal the emptiness that Ling-Ling was feeling and help Auntie Marg and Unkie Jim fill the void that Mei-Li had left. We miss those big brown eyes and those special Tzu kisses, but know that Tiki will be loved so very much. And then our TULIP (Shih Tzu) arrived on the scene in July of 2005. What a sweet, lovable, cuddly little girl she was. So full of energy and love. Again, another baby that crawled right into our hearts. Auntie Marg and Unkie Jim decided they would like to foster our little Tulip and they flunked within the first week. Tulip is a very, very special little girl and had them wrapped right around her little paws in no time. Now Ling-Ling has two very special sisters and she is so very contented sharing her life and soft beds with both Tiki and Tulip.

PEABODY AND PERCY (Shih Tzu) arrived very unexpectedly in April of 2005. Their Mama Amelia was turned over to the rescue due to an abuse situation and delivered our beautiful boys to us on the day she arrived. We watched as they took their first breath. We were there to look into their eyes for the first time. We watched as they took their first steps and enjoyed every minute as they grew into two very loving little boys. We were so blessed to have them here with us and they gave us more than they will ever know. We miss you our sweet little boys. You will remain in our hearts forever.
