FREDDIE (Skye Terrier Mix) blessed our lives in May 2003, CAGNEY (Yorkie) wagged into our lives in June 2004 and HOPE entered our lives in November 2004. Freddie is deaf, but that doesn't slow him down. He is very familiar with hand signals and a lovable handsome boy. We hunted and hunted for the right place for our Special Needs Boy and just couldn't let him leave the family. Our sister and brother-in-law fell in love with this very special boy. Then along came Cagney and our sister and brother-in-law instantly flunked foster 101. Who could possibly resist that sweet face and happy, bouncy little boy. Hope was and is such a special needs little baby and after helping Hope heal we felt she had found the best home she could possibly find with those two people that were responsible for helping her to walk and bounce and be free of pain. |
FREDDIE, CAGNEY and HOPE are close to Auntie Jan and Unkie Bruce with their forever Mom and Dad Judy and Dick and their step brothers & sister, Buster, Dooley, Bennie & Ginger in White Cloud, Michigan. |
EMMY (Yorkie/Bichon Mix) joined us in June of 2004. Her owner was moving into assisted living and could not take Emmy with her. Emmy had been with her owner since she was a puppy. This sweetie was so very frightened when she arrived, had not been socialized well and this was a whole new world to her. With time Emmy felt safe and her loving, sweet personality emerged. We so enjoyed her stay with us. |

Our sweet Emmy left all of those who loved her and crossed the Rainbow Bridge to romp and play with all of her friends. |
Lois fka BREE (Boston Terrier) arrived in our home in February 2004. She was a sweet, sweet little girl. Lois was placed with an adoptive family in May of 2004. Through no fault of her own, Lois was returned to our rescue in October 2004. Because we felt that Lois needed more one on one than we could give her at that time with heavy hearts we decided that she needed to be in a different environment. We reached out to Midwest Boston Terrier Rescue to help our baby. A special thank you to Debbie who fostered Lois and Gwen of Midwest Boston Terrier Rescue for giving our little girl the chance she needed and finding her a very special home. |
